We have a company that uses Office 365 subscription. They purchased Project 2016 on their own. When we attempt to install Project 2016, it states that the Windows Installer based Office product cannot be installed with an Office Click-to-Run installer.
I have uninstalled O365 and attempted to install Project 2016 first, but I get the same error message about the Office 365 Click-to-Run. I opened a case with Microsoft and they gave me options to purchase Project Online (Click-to-Run).
I know it will work if I install Office 2013, the last version with the msi installer. Is there another way to resolve this without installing 2013? There is a trick to get around it:1. Go to the registry path HKEYLOCALMACHINESOFTWAREWOW6432NodeMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionUninstallOffice16.PROPLUS (x86 Office) or HKEYCURRENTUSERSoftwareMicrosoftWindowsCurrentVersionUninstallOffice16.PROPLUS (x64 Office)2. Add a DWORD value called SystemComponentand set it to 13. Now make sure that in thecontrol panel (Programs and Features) Office 2016 is absent4. You can install Visio 2016now with the C2R installer, after that start it and enter your serial5.
Remove the registry valuefrom step 2 so that the Office 2016 entry appears againJust replace by your version of Office. This is not clear. Its confusing and we are not programmers. Don't assume everyone can use command prompt.
I have been trying to install Project and Visio along side my office 2016 professional plus c2r and just cannot get this to work. I read all the confusing instructions by Microsoft, visited a site that automatically generates the configuration xml file code and even watched youtube and cant get this to work.
There are no instructions on how to locate the configuration file using the command prompt and whether the full office product is download from the internet or should be manually downloaded first. A proper step by step is needed especially at the cmd prompt. Dnt refer me to download office deployment tool and follow Microsoft instructions. I did all of that. Someone please take some time and give a walk through step by step explanation on how to do this. Lgkool wrote:This is not clear. Diablo 3 conquest season 16.

Pleeeeeeeeease.Using the command prompt does not mean you are or need to be a programmer. The link is very specific on what steps and commands to do, It doesn't get better than that.It is a simple command and process. If I can clarify, because the instructions don't say, create the xml file at the site of above, replace the existing xml file with it, run command prompt as administrator, navigate to the folder with exe and xml files using the cd command, and then use this command: setup.exe /configure configuration.xml^I mention this because the microsoft how-to page only seems to mention more complex scenarios!Worked for me, after many hours of dealing with microsoft support engineers who didn't know the solution to this very common challenge. Thanks to all posters! This is kind of a nightmare.
You can create a shortcut and add the arguments at the end of the string to create an automated step for easy user self-install. If you need to run the x64 version make sure you set the shortcut to run as admin in the advanced button. Otherwise it will launch the x86 version of the cmd prompt and give you a confusing error about running a 32bit program when 64bit is installed.
But this guide is accurate and thanks to the regular people filled in the holes the experts forget, for the rest of us. Very grateful. Understatement of the year;) I always have a hard time with stuff like this and I'm pretty good with computers. It seems they always leave something off because it's natural to them. They think the instructions are clear but only because they've done this at least 5 times or they designed the whole thing. It's like those Windows Live CDUSBs. I have never been able to get one to work. Except for Hiran's Boot CD.
He gives you step by step everything. Maybe that video that adrianhigueros posted will help. I picture is worth 1000 words but a video leaves nothing to doubt.;).
Well, I did it and I got the Project 2016 installed from the web. It is seemingly C2R, it opens etc. Yet it is not activated. I have Office 365 license working fine, but this does not include Project 2016.
When I try to use the key for volume license, it is not accepted. I have Spanish Project 2016 Pro MSI license. I suppose that after some time I will get red bar and limited functionality, which I am not happy about.I had Project 2013 on that machine before, and Office 2013 MSI also. Now it is Office 365 (2016) click to run.Any suggestion how to activate Project 2016 or install MSI - I have ISO and key for the installation?RegardsMarcin.
Old topic is Old Maybe I will get lucky to find answers for Project Nevada for FNV:First things first: (since Google Failed)I came across some unique mods on a different site that is not Nexus. So I was intrigued to test such mods. I had NMM and Project Nevada worked fine. But this site required to use FOMM instead of NMM (not sure why) So I uninstalled all my FNV mods off NMM, Installed FOMM, then re-downloaded all my regular mods into FOMM, Project Nevada being one of my essencial mods. Here are a few mods I use in relation to Project Nevada. I tripled checked my files in all sorts of ways to make sure there was no essence of any FNV mods nor any traces of NMM for my FNV mods before I installed FOMM.McMProject NevadaoHud (gophers new one hud project)uHud (unified hud project.
Gophers way of bringing all huds togeather)Project Nevada DLC SupportPNxEO MCMScripts Fixes.espWhen I load the game up I get a pop up stating:You are running at least 1 of Project Nevada DLC patchesPlease deactivate in place of the Project Nevada - All DLC Patch. No clue what this means.
Never seen it before.I DO NOT HAVE EVE, WME, and WMX installed so I only needed the Project Nevada - DLC Support 13 under this modNow when I go in game and enter the mod config menu oHud, and uHud are not in the menu list in Project Nevada when it should be, relating to when I was using NMM.When I open the Equipment tree in Project Nevada I get404 Error file not foundin equipment menuI'm at wits end right now. The Project Nevada - All DLC plugin installed by Project Nevada - Extra Options replaces the four plugins installed by the Project Nevada - DLC Support installer. De-activate (or delete) them.To get everything working, install Project Nevada, close the package manager, make sure all of the PN plugins are activated, open the package manager again, and then install Project Nevada - DLC Support, Project Nevada - Extra Options, PNxEO Script Fixes, MCM, oHUD, and uHUD in that order. Always install MCM after installing PN, and always run the uHUD install script last. There is no configuration for the Equipment module (yet?) in MCM, and so the author put in a 404 page for a placeholder as a joke. The, 'Please Deactivate in place of the PN - all DLC patch warning.' Now my male changed to default male setting. The mods listed above are the only ones I deactivated so not sure how my actor changed.
I ran BOSS a few times, and my male actor is still set as the default male. Also, I still do not have a oHUD, and uHUD settings in the McM Project Nevada menu showing, when they shoud be there.I tired the order you posted at first:' install Project Nevada - DLC Support, Project Nevada - Extra Options - PNxEO Script Fixes - MCM - oHUD - uHUD'and I can not activate the PN DLC Support, with out having Project Nevada activated first so I did this:installed Project Nevada first, then Project Nevada - DLC Support Extra Options - PNxEO Script Fixes - MCM - oHUD - uHUDas you see I just switched Project Nevada with Project Nevada DLC support Extra Options. The rest I loaded in the order of your posted.

Hi I'm still new to modding but I have tried installing a select few mods and I get two errors when I boot up my game as seen in the link which also contains all my mods and load order.First I get an error that states'There seems to be an error with your Project Nevada installation because the HUD extensions were not detected'.Then another one says'iHUD has detected MCM but it is an earlier version.'
My MCM is the latest version, I've also tried fiddling with the installation orders but to no avail. I've read in places that it could be due to a conflict with an older version of MCM in Project Nevada but I couldn't find any concrete fix. Even without PN installed I still get the MCM error. I also found this proposed fixwhich mentions xml files but I couldn't find any files at all in data/menusAny help would be appreciated. Uninstall all 3 mods. Install them in the following order:. Project Nevada.
Mod Configuration Menu. Every other UI mod you have, checking before allowing overwrites. UIOIf you have other UI mods installed, you should uninstall all of them and start over. UI mods are imo one of the primary places where MO is way better at handling them due to how the mods must overwrite files. It's still going to be hit or miss with NMM just due to things, and order matters a lot. If you're installing a bunch of UI mods, install them one at a time and launch the game to make sure it works. Much easier to back one out.
